Alright- You're excited for Burning Man: Let's Get Started!
Register for Camp! (DO IT NOW!)
If you've already spoken with a camp leader, and know that you're in camp, then it's time to register. Getting us your information as soon as possible supports us with planning, and you with feeling secure with your spot. If you are a NEW camper, or you want to bring someone else into camp, read the next box.
Want to invite someone to camp?
We want to welcome new members, but we only do so by referal and we usually have a waiting list. So please read the instructions on how to invite a new member to camp. Remember, if you sponsor someone new to come into camp, it's your job to acculturate them and make sure they're set to go.
Attend our Camp Meetings (every tuesday)
We alternate each week between Build Calls & Culture Calls. Build calls are for logistics and planning. Culture calls are for getting to know one another and creating a shared understanding.
Each Tuesday at 5p PST/ 7p CST / 8p EST / 2a CEST
Sign up for our communication channels
We use 3 ways to communicate as a camp:
- Email listserve: This is for announcements and an ALL-COM channel
- Signal Group: This is for chatter and connection
- Discord: This is for organizing and planning

Camp Cost Share
BWB Camp has a lot to provide, because we do this together, and we've been putting in a collective investment on our infrastructure over the years. Please pay your camp dues ASAP. This supports our leadership in not having to go into pocket and knowing how to plan best. Please, don't make us chase you down.
Who's Camping with us? Who's leading what?
Once you register, we add you to our camp roster.
Once someone raises their hand to lead a department, we add you to the leads list. If you're feeling unsure- email us!
What to Expect from Camp
Come into camp prepared! We've put together a ton of information for you. Read up on what to expect from our camp infrastructure, and what to expect when you arrive in camp.
Volunteer Shifts!
The most exciting part of being part of an awesome camp! Most everyone is expected to do 3 shifts in camp, 1 of those being in the kitchen. Hopefully you told us about what you wanted to do in your registration form. Read more below, or email us.
